What is Included: Travel to and from Dublin, Ireland, 4 nights in Dublin prior to transfer to Castle Leslie, 5 nights at Castle Leslie Equestrian Center with daily riding lessons, transfer to and from Dublin to Castle Leslie, one night in Dublin after program completion at Castle Leslie, tours while in Dublin, meals while at Castle Leslie, and some meals while in Dublin.
What is not Included: Some meals while in Dublin and incidentals.
Estimated Costs: Students will pay a $600 deposit (counted toward the program costs) and $25 study abroad fee upon admittance to the program.
Program Description

This course will introduce students to the Irish Draught and Connemara breeds, the history of horses in Ireland, a brief history of Ireland, and allow them to experience riding through the countryside of Ireland along with taking lessons from Irish instructors. An emphasis will be placed on understanding the role of the Irish bred horse in the equestrian world today.
The course will take place in the Fall 2019 semester with travel during Spring 2020.
